Re: Are people inherently stupid?
I would preffer to hear it from them but make sure you ask your marine friends if it was in fact taught to them. In this case it would not be me being wrong. It would be my training that was incorrect if it came down to that but i have been wrong in the past on things. As for them knowing less then me that will probably remain true as my wife says im a plethera of worthless knowledge.

Re: Are people inherently stupid?
Well the marines we worked with at this particular base were no where near capable of setting up this equipment.
So I would imagine that it is safe to say that Marines are not 100% self contained. Especially since most of the Marines network backbone is supported by JWICS and the Airforce.

Re: Are people inherently stupid?
The Corps are a self contained unit. We have an mos for everything. If you had said it was new equipment or something i could go with that but to say they were not capable of setting up equipment i have to call bs. I've seen af guys get stationed on bases with me and get paid hard ship pay for being there and ive been stationed on af, navy, and army bases for various reasons. What i have never seen is a branch station people because no one on that base could do the job.

Re: Are people inherently stupid?
They were not capable to do this due to clearance and training reqs. We can argue all day on how the marines are not self contained in everything but you will just disagree as usual. Oh I almost forgot ... I provided you some knowledge of mine on the flag pole... Where is yours? No proof yet?
It's ok though Death.. I along with many others have dealt with this type of attitude. You are a Marine... You are told something by a book or a superior... You believe in what was said/taught.... You can not be proved wrong unless you are proved wrong by another Marine...You will sell your beliefs to non-marines and expect them to swallow it without asking questions..
So I ask you once again.. Where is your proof that those 3 items exist... or are we expected to believe every piece of bs that you spit out? You are not a preacher...especially in this case. You are clearly wrong, others have proven it and yet you still find ways to try and justify "It's not me that's wrong"Last edited by Warprosper; 11-01-11 at 05:03 PM.

Re: Are people inherently stupid?
Well lets see i give you what i was trained and read in print and you give me your story of working with flag poles. Yet somehow yours is proof and mine isnt? No one has proven anything which includes myself. So dont be to quick to pat yourself on the back becuase you havent proven anything.
Then you want to make a remark about my attitude when your is exactly the same just sitting on the other side of the fence. Nice try but try that bullshit with someone else cause it dont fly this way. Shit only runs downhill and the field of play so far has been level.
I am alittle curiour about these clearence and training reqs that appearntly no one at a Marine Corps air station seemed to have.Last edited by deathgodusmc; 11-01-11 at 05:10 PM.

Re: Are people inherently stupid?
That was never discussed in bootcamp but we joked about it later. Personally i dont think anyone would have done it as required. If it ever came to that i would rather shot one of them and let them finish me off. Why inflict the final blow when you can take a few with you.
