    Econometrics

Econometrics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I no longer accept stats lacking % error, p value, n, or the equation used.

This class will show you why, anyone in college should consider looking into it.

So wait... I understand that being christian dosnt make you moral just as being a moral person dosnt make you christian but why are we looking at a few examples of the worst of the church? Just moused over for the titles but those look like catholic cases to me. Why not look at the amount of monies donated to aid through church groups that might not have been donated had the person not been christian/at a church?

Or in the case of some churches, the advise they give to the young parishioners in a hope that they will lead a better life?

The church tries to instill good morals into people, it cant force it. There are bound to be some who either ignore what they hear or decide to go against it. Its called humanity, its flawed.

I'm actually kind of surprised that percentage of those who said 'yes' in the U.S. as reported by the article was as high as it was. I wonder what the data would look like if the majority age group was a younger generation. Good on 'em either way (to an extent, I'd add some qualifiers to the question), though I wonder how many could actually offer a defense of their position.

I don't how it would be more moral/good-willed. Reason(s) would just be different, essentially.

Though, I don't know if "moral because you believe it will make you go to Heaven when you die" isn't really an applicable statement to make given the Christian context of the article. True Biblical Christianity is not a works-salvation religion where being moral and/or doing good works plays a meritorious role in the salvation of an individual.

Eh even if it is wrong, it does give an interesting discussion. Plus its done by Pew, so its probably surprising the numbers are so low =P (kidding of course)
