Video games 'don't make kids violent': study - The Local
“If research can't provide any simple answers about how games make children aggressive, perhaps we adults should stop judging the games children play based on whether they are violent or not,” Media Council researcher Ulf Dalquist said in a statement.

maybe its not that violent video games cause kids to be violent, but its violent kids tend to prefer violent video games.
its like when a future serial killer tortures a small animal at youth. you dont blame the animal cuz the kids already fucked up.

Re: Virtual Guns don't Kill people.....
Worked a case (and no I can't give a lot of details) where some kids were playing COD on PS3. One of them, while waiting for his turn went to closet and got a pellet gun. They started playing with it and next thing you know we're having to notify parents.
I'm not saying it's the games fault but that was the community's outcry for the next few weeks. What it boiled down to was the parents were letting the game babysit the kids for way to long without parental supervision and a tragic accident was the result.

Oh please. Stupid kids do stupid shit. Oddly enough that carries on into adulthood for many. The parents could have hidden that gun anywhere in the house and most likely kids are going to know where to find it and have a plan of how to get it. I dont care who the parent is your not going to stop your kids from being retarded every time. One way or another your gonna end up with drool on the carpet sooner or later.
