1 ridiculously blown over-the back call, and another nice elbow to the head.

the guy has leaps no doubt but... i swear basketball is the worst officiated sport.

Careful, that last comment might get you sued for slander...by the NFL.

As for the dunks I thought the same about the first. On the second it is a tough call on whether Blake used the left arm to clear out, which is illegal, or if it was just there.

well it sure looks like he cleared him out to me. on every angle. on top of that, after he elbowed his head out of the way, he then leaned on the guys shoulder for extra support. pro.

either way, you just can't have guys elbowing people to the head.

you can't blame blake though. you gotta blame the officiating at this point. i've seen ticky-tack offensive fouls called on players who BARELY raise their offhand making SLIGHT contact with the defender while laying the ball up with their strong hand and get called for pushing off, offensive foul. so why can't blake griffin get called for an offensive foul when he's basically propping himself up with his offhand or elbowing the guy with that arm?

i don't blame blake though. basketball has developed a sense of entitlement to the dunker in these highlight plays. if anything pau should have hacked his arms or held his arms for a second in mid air to prevent the dunk and make blake shoot free throws which is one rare aspect of his game that kinda sucks

I LOVE JAMES HARDEN. he's such a good player and such a good teammate. you give him a high usage rate with 30+ minutes on ANY team and he's averaging 22 ppg 5 apg 4 rpg EASY with high efficiency and a ton of free throws. plus he has the best beard in the nba

    Re: NBA 2011-2012

What an exciting weekend of playoff basketball.

DRose blows out a knee, as does Shumpert.

Durantula kills the Mavs again with a last second shot.

Orlando, who almost everyone predicted to get swept without Superman, steals game 1 in Indiana.

Rondo gets ejected, and will likely miss at least the next game.

And to cap it all off the Clippers come back from a 27 point 3rd quarter, and 21 point 4th quarter, deficit to stun the Grizz.

    NBA action, it's fantastic.
