The Magic look like crap. Just holding out hope they don't trade Superman to the Nets. My money says if they don't then he and DWill end up in Dallas next season with Dirk, and that makes my pants bulge.

Plus nice win by my Mavs to take sole possession of first in their division.

I am hoping every day that the Mavs can pull in superman and dwill....resign jet, and Kidd to minimum veteran contracts and we should be looking at another championship next year....and possibly this year....

But then they have to deal with something that *shock* isn't profitable, and why do that when we can just force taxpayers to foot the bill for whatever the fuck we want, or just leave and give them the middle finger.
The city gets plenty of economic benefits from having a sports team there. It's like a symbiotic relationship. Why would the city not foot part of the bill if they're also getting part of the benefits?

Most of the time when a stadium is built, it's done jointly by both the team and the city. Sometimes the state jumps in as well and the shares go closer the 1/3. They all put up part of the money because they all reap the benefits.

The hornets are one of the hardest playing teams in the league....unfortunately our star is on the bench hurt, demanding more money. This franchise is in the right direction though. Demps is getting his personnel together and the hornets will be formidable soon. Gordon will be back, we get 2 first round picks (one of which will def be a lotto pick, if not two), and we are trading Kaman for God knows what. I like the way we're headed.

On that note, Nola is NOT beating Miami. LeBron drops 30 minimum, and we get rolled.

I was hoping the Hornets could beat the Suns. Oh, well. Better chance of getting Anthony Davis, aka Unibrow, now.

Mocks have us (the hornets) with the 2nd overall pick along with the wolves pick around 10-12.

At this point, we are looking to get Andre Drummond with that 2nd pick and the 7 footer from Illinois. Hornets need some starpower down low.

If they pick a guard....I will blow myself up.

So how bad does Portland want a do-over on the 2007 draft right now?

Probably not as much as them wanting a do over for the 1984 draft of Bowie over Jordan

Of course. Has any other team been so cursed when it comes to the draft? You can add Bill Walton to the list as well. Although on that one they made the right pick, but just were cursed by injuries as well.
