12-29-11, 12:53 AM #1NBA 2011-2012
Anyone following the season so far? Not a big NBA fan so only seen a few games so far (most of them being Suns games) but figured there have to be some people interesting in talking about it right? (Plus I want to post random stats, being a stats geek and all).

Hornets rolling. :smug:
Sucks that you are following the Suns, though. They, the Pistons, Raptors, Bobcats, Nets, Jazz, and Timberwolves are all so, so bad.
Id love to talk nba and I like advanced stats. I don't know how many others are interested in the nba, though.

I'm still following my Hornets. What is it with them and their fast starts? It'll be interesting to see where they and the other teams stand once the smoke clears.
We talking stats like True Shooting %, effective FG %, pointes per 100 possessions, etc? Either way I'm intrigued.

durant with a badass clutch game winner. FUCK DALLAS.
condensed schedule should be interesting... deep teams like nuggets, hawks, pacers, and my rockets gonna run teams out of the arena.
miami is beast mode with this uptempo game.
and kibner twolves will not be bad this season. they have a good squad and adelman will have them in playoffs.

No, the twolves will still be bad. Just less bad compared to last year. They aren't the worst team in the league this year.
I have an extra ticket to the Hornets game tonight if anyone wants to go.

Hornets shot 29% last night and lost to the ficking Suns. Nothing was dropping, not even the open looks they were getting. 14/43 in the paint. Ugghh, such a terrible shooting night. I expect them to bounce back in the next game since they did so many good things in the game. Shots just didn't drop sn the team let it affect their defense.

Hornets lost this last one in the last few minutes. Made several mental mistakes that caused them to lose the lead and never retake it. Hope Eric Gordon plays tomorrow. Should be a decent game if the Hornets can start playing up to their capabilities again.
