Thread: Amateur Night

Now fortunately I am out of the restaurant industry, but for those of you in it, tomorrow is amateur night, and I remember how awful it was (even though the whole holiday season is pretty bad). I found an awesome article about it that I figured I'd share.

The best part are probably the posts from upset people who think the guy is too harsh when he is spot on with his descriptions.

Ya but see, he doesn't deal with the customers, its the poor waitstaff who have to suffer fucktards. He makes a lot of good points on how diners act. Especially points 1,3, and 4.

annoying/rude they are still paying customers and hopefully tippers when people go out on holidays they want to have a good time not a quite dinner even if i ever had the money i'd never go to some snooty restruant gimme dennys or golden coral any day of the week

Ya but your goodtime shouldnt make employees suffer. Its the holidays and they have t o serve you. No reason to make it harder on them.
