My dogs turn to be put down.
So yeah it's pretty much official that we are going to be putting my dog Max down probably tomorrow. It has gotten to the point where he won't even eat or get up anymore. He throws up daily and he is in a lot of pain. He was diagnosed with Fibrosarcoma. It is a rare bone disease and it lead to cancer on his back right leg. It is so far up his leg that amputation is not even an option. We basically just had to watch him slowly get worse and worse the last few days. The tumor is about as big as a half of a pumpkin. It has been growing at a very fast rate every day and his skin has split open because it is growing so fast and has gotten so big. His leg has been swelling every where on it from toe to hip for about the last three days.
We decided that it would just be better to put him down tomorrow and get him out of his pain. He is living miserable so I think this is what's best for him.
Here are some photos we took of him over the years:
He is the brown one by the way.
Ha ha I remember this, my white dog Brittany got stung by a bee on the nose and her face swelled up. LOL.
I kinda wish I took more pictures of him...those are all the pictures I have of him

Re: My dogs turn to be put down.
Aw man, sorry to hear this, Always a sad time. It was rough when my X's family put down their dog Buddy. He had kinda the same situation although his was just arthritis in both his back legs, They waited as long as they could and he finally gave up so they put him down, Tough thing to watch. Dogs are IMO the greatest friend and ally anyone could ask for its always sad to see a companion go down, But just remember he went down in history, Your history and youll never forget him.

So sorry vex, it hurts a lot to lose your buddy...at least you can have peace of mind in knowing he won't be hurting anymore.
The first couple days are the worst, but it stops hurting with time.

GOOD NEWS!!!11!!!!1!!!1!!!!!!!!!
We decided to take him to the vet one last time and the girl gave us some different meds and stuff to see if they could help him a bit. One was to help the swelling, and the other was a anti-biotic. They seem to be helping his pain because he can kinda walk now which is good. He also is wagging his tail again and eating. He will still die, but we may have him for up to 2 more months!!!!
