I noticed in the 2nd half (especially the 4th), the commentators all of sudden changed from "LSU offense has struggled to get anything going." "Jeffereson is struggling" etc. to "Alabama's defense is playing great" "Alabama is shutting down the LSU offense" etc.

Because Alabama led every defense stat in the country. This D gave up 8 touchdowns all season. Best defense EVER.

Final thoughts from BT. It would have been nice to beat LSU twice. Should have but mistakes is part of the game. Alabama played a flawless game. LSU could only mustard 93 yards total offense. I still say LSU or Bama blows out OSU. LSU blew out Orgeon's high powered offense so take that how you want. Bama's D was and is better. See yall next season.

Oregan's offense is MUCH different from OSU's offense. While I think the better of the two teams won (Bama should have won the first meeting if they had a kicker worth a darn) the game was a joke, two teams from the same conference shouldn't be able to play each other in the national championship with the current system, unless there is no other team with the same record. Good job Bama, screw you LSU, and SEC SEC SEC...
