Re: Time... For a new phone.
Figure I'll post here since we're already sort of off topic... I am about to do my first rooting of my phone... What should I do? Using this guide as a starter:

Re: Time... For a new phone.
Just curious at what kind of battery life is normal. Or what is expected. I am happy if my phone lasts until I go to sleep. For the most part I never have problems unless I play Angry Birds for a long period (damn game).
I have the Galaxy 2. I never turn off wifi, bluetooth, autosync and 4G is on by default. I don't use any task killers or battery managers. I have experimented with turning these things off and unless I am constanly using them it made almost no difference.

Re: Time... For a new phone.
With my Incredible I could go into day 3 before needing to recharge... I don't use the phone itself a whole lot, but I do text quite a bit. And I check the weather... play the occasional game... check the web... tapatalk... So reasonably light usage really to get that kind of battery life.
(btw... 1AM this morning until 11PM this evening... 22 hours... still sitting at 71% battery)

Damn 3 days for any smart phone is amazing.
I charge mine every night. My mytouch had a hard time making it through the day. This phone has been great so far. I have taken it to 2 days, but that was with little use.
