Looking for a fixer upper but...
Im looking to move back up north and me being a cheapskate im looking at houses that need work. What i dont get is why all you fuckers in minn, wiscon, ohio, and penn have paneling. What wood floors weren't enough so you had to continue it up the walls? Jesus christ i've never seen so many homes with paneling. Next time by a fucking log cabin and you'll have all the wood you need.
That being said i've spent my life living in cities. Now im looking at 5 to 20 acre lots. Prefferably wooded so i can continue being lazy and not mow. Any recommendations from our northern members?

As a friend, I will warn you about Wisconsin. You can feel your B.A.C. go up and your IQ drop about 20 points as you cross the border.
As for the paneling, we're surrounded by trees. We are either trying to blend in, or send a message to the other trees, the choice is yours.

Wyoming is nice, but remote. My aunt has a ranch house up there. Unfortunately, there are quite a few blizzards that make travelling dangerous. Michigan has very nice season. Summers are exceptional and there's lots of good fishing out on the Great Lakes. Lake Eerie is pretty Eerie though. Illinois is also very nice especially on the Lake Michigan coast.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
