The Armed Republic of WW_BITEME!!

AND

The Empire of the Colonies of Man[/align]

This agreement is put forth so as to secure the mutual friendship, existence, and protection of both parties involved. The agreement has been spurred forth by the actions of the Omnipotent Autocracy of Lurking Mastermind, The Republic of Nefaris, and the Incorporated States of Milton Legs (agreement to the proposed non-aggression pact pending at present). It is in the best interests of both parties that an alliance be signed for the mutual protection of their respective nations and to curtail the growth of any hostile nation that seeks to threaten the aligned nations.

The agreement is as follows:

Both parties will agree to full military, economic, and government participation
Both parties will retain control over their respective nation, protectorates, and all occupied or annexed territory both at present and in the future
The location, size, and strength of all military forces of both nations will be made know to the other, as will all military plans
Scientific research will be freely shared between the two nations, both for military purposes and for the general population in the private and industrial and commercial sectors
Trade between nations will be open and facilitated by the governments of both nations
Full military and civilian access will be granted to the citizens of both nations, provided that both nations are informed of all military movements into their respective nations, and that all civilian personnel present the proper papers upon entry and exist of both nations
Naval vessels will be allowed to dock in both nation's ports, that their facilities are used without restriction, and that joint naval operations will occur
Joint military exercises will occur between both nations
That if any nation is attacked by a third party, the other nation will immediately come to the aide of the other
That if a third party requests admittance into this alliance, that their entry be approved by both of the aligned nations

The ruling body of both nations, both present and future, will agree openly to the above agreement and sign it of their own free accord. This agreement will last for no less than a period of 200 years from the date of finalization of the agreement.

The Empire of the Colonies of Man agrees to the above requirements for Alliance. It hereby awaits the answer of The Armed Republic of WW_BITEME!!, and expresses its most sincere desire to join in an alliance with the great nation of the Armed Republic of WW_BITEME!!

not to throw a wrench into things, but what is you're empire's current state Dave? I though yours was a bit on the paranoid side last time I checked?

We are role playing the nations we have built on nations states correct? If we have created isolatonsist states via our issues and policies shouldn't we be playing our nations the same way?

I know I'd love to work a mediteranian trade agreement but currently my nation views all forieners with distrust so I must role play that way until I swing my nation arround to a more friendly view of my neighbors.

Or are we role playing the nations here differently than they are on nationstates?

Anyways, I needed to make it official, since AzH, Nusent, and Milton have one going. I figured we should have our alliance in print and for all to see.

Now that I think of it, is there anyone else you think would be worthy of also joining our alliance?

Obviously the government, economy, military, size, and some philosophical issues will always be a part of this. However, I think we can deviate from what occurs on Nationstates just a little.
