Re: PC, Xbox, PS3 or Wii?
Hmmm, kind of hard to choose my favorite.
I like the Wii because my whole family (including my wife) likes playing it so we have a good time together.
It is kind of a toss up between the PC and the 360. They both have great graphics and can both be played online. However, I am on my PC a lot more then I am on anything else, so I will have to go with the PC.
And I will never, ever buy a PS3. Do damn high and haven't seen any proof that it is worth it except for maybe the blu-ray.

Re: PC, Xbox, PS3 or Wii?
what games do you play on the Wii that everyone in the family enjoys? All I have seen is the crappy Wii Sports demo (I say crappy because I think it's a crude use of accelerometers -- I suspect a major reason it is so crude is because of the processing it requires to have high-frequency feedback for low-g movement -- but still they could have done some twisting and tilt detection for topspin/backspin in tennis, or for bowling when you want to curve the ball, as examples). I really want to love the Wii, but what I have seen needs improvement.

Re: PC, Xbox, PS3 or Wii?
i dont think PC should be included...looks more like a console vote as 75% of the options are consoles. PCs vs consoles are essentially apples vs oranges... :P plus the fact that the poll is on a pc gaming based forum/community, i imagine theres a little bias...
pc then wii (though i voted wii, because somehow i missed the pc option until after i voted )

The Wii is fine, people just need to learn to use it. When I say that I mean the players and the developers. It has so much it can do, but because it is new the developers seem to be holding back on exactly how much you can do with it. Give them time to test and tweek it and players time to adjust and it will be much better.
Everyone in my family enjoys playing the wii too, even if it is just Wii Sports or Wii Play (although Sports is better). The other games aren't really made exclusively for the Wii which is why they aren't as good. Hopefully that will change though by the end of the year.
I love my Wii, but PC is just so much better, I don't think it should even be a choice. You can't really compare PCs to consoles. PC just has so much better choices. Besides that, seeing as how we are all here, I don't many people will say anything over PC.
nmeboat beat me to it but I said it anyways. :P

Re: PC, Xbox, PS3 or Wii?
Well of course Wii Sports isn't a highly advanced game, but we love to play it. All of us (I have a 9 and 6 year old) like to bowl together and I have no problem adding some curve when I bowl. My kids play baseball in real life so they like playing baseball against each other and my son plays the boxing until he can't punch anymore. It's not so much the mechanics or the graphics, but the interaction between everyone. You are not sitting for hours at a time, you are up moving around which I think is great for the kids and adults.
Need your kids to get a little exercise? Get them boxing on the wii for a few rounds and I guarantee they will get a work out and have fun at the same time, because they don't look at it as exercise. To them they are just playing a game.
Now we did get the new Wii Play game and I don't care for it much, but it did come with a Wii Remote and at the time, those were hard to find.
I think they will have better, family oriented games out for the Wii in the future. But I think it was a great idea from Nintendo to include Wii Sports to give you an idea of what kind of game play can be achieved with the Wii remote. The new Tiger Woods golf is coming out for the Wii so that one may be a better test for the remote, plus see how the Wii handles the gameplay and graphics.
