Hi guys
Obligatory HD Funkadelic.. 1:15 -end. this is the best ballad I've ever heard.
ALLMAN BROTHER'S BAND!!
"In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" starts at 42:00. The ballad starts @ around 45..
CSN Wooden Ships is one of their best imo. Start at 3:00 for the guitar magic
Cortez The Killer by neil young. the second half is more interesting
U WANT ACOUSTIC? WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF BIGSTAR?
This song is the best.

Good call on "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed". That is one of my favorite Allman Brothers songs.

Yes - "Starship Trooper". I absolutely love the groove that starts at 5:40 and plays out for the last 4 minutes of the song. My old band used to incorporate this into some of our jam songs. We could go on for 10 minutes with this, starting simple, building up, swapping out lead breaks. Steve Howe is a fantastic player.
I guess it wouldn't be right to leave out Hendrix's "The Wind Cries Mary". He really makes that Stratocaster sing beautifully.
One of the softer Rolling Stones songs, but still a great song. "Wild Horses".
And a great version of "I'll see you in my dreams" performed by Mark Knopfler and Chet Atkins. Back when I was in high school, I played this song at a recital with an upright bass accompaniment. Obviously, I wasn't as talented of a finger picker as these guys, but I wasn't bad for a 16 year old kid.
