Apparently NBC's tape delayed coverage cut out part of the show that was about the London bombings. it seems what is being said is it was due to them thinking that it wasn't "tailored to US audiences."
Add in the "lets make it take 3 days to see any marquee events on the West Coast cuz dey prime timez lawlz!" crap, oh and needing a cable subscription to see anything live online (I find that stupid mainly as they could of put it free with no need for that, or even just a free account and then make money off advertising)

What is this shit i heard today that only the brit athletes have accommidations with ac? They had one on the radio today and he was talking about all everyone has is fans and was surprised to hear the brits have ac. If we did that shit here the whole world would be screaming foul.

Home field advantage.
:)
I have no idea if the reports are true. I do know that there is a long tradition in American sports of doing exactly those sorts of things.
