Re: TPG Winter meetup?
I already talked about this but I'll say it again for the uninformed. March is our snowiest month, so if there was a LAN here I'd make it January just to be safe. When it snows here it isn't like back east where I'm from. The city doesn't shutdown, it just may get a late start to the day. It usually snows later in the day or at night and is SUNNY the next morning. Because of the sun the snow is usually completely gone or just wet slush by the end of the day. And the snow doesn't freeze overnight on the roads. The sun has a huge affect on the snow around here and it often melts off the road same-day if not by the next day and it doesn't refreeze overnight.
And that is if we even get the snow forecast, the biggest issue like I said isn't the snow in Denver, its the snow we could get right outside of the Denver area for people driving here that is an issue. Denver itself gets this affect that sorta shields us from the weather sometimes. It ends up falling in the front range, skips Denver, and then falls in the plains.
