Recapturing Steam Avatar

Long story, I have lost my original file that was the pic I use for my steam avatar. Is there anyway I can grab it back from steam? I tried to copying from my profile but it wont let me.

just bring up your profile and take a screen shot. Then you can crop it in gimp or something.

If you have windows 7 you can just use the snipping tool and grab only the avatar from the profile.

Not that i know of, it should get resized.... wouldnt be any reason for them to keep the original, they probably have a local copy of the resized though...

Thanks, I realized somehow I saved the pic as teeny tiny. I have no idea how I did that. I tried again and it looks good now. Thanks for the quick responses
