Figured it was worthy enough of having a thread, and would love to have more discussion on players, drafts, the stupidity of people in public league (/notannoyed >.>). Of course their will likely be smacktalk as well, and I realize that discussion of sleepers and stuff may be a bit...lacking since there are at least two leagues filled with people from here.
Oh, and the public league thing comes from being in a league where the first 3 pick where QB, and the next 3 QB (I was the only one to take a RB in between there, then the person at 8th took one). Then they did a bunch of kickers and some defenses really early and it was just like a draft with the biggest group of fucking idiots ever. I could see the argument for Rodgers and Brady in the top 3, maybe Brees as well, but the drop-off between them and the next set of QBs seems a lot less then the drop-off from the top 3 RBs.
I was looking at it pre-draft and really the top 3 RBs are about the only good looking RBs out there right now. Sure, there will be some sleepers, but it seemed that after them, everyone had a bit too many questions. Didn't stop me in the TPG league from taking one of those RBs but still.

Lynch is having back spasms, so they are not sure if he will play week 1. If he is healthy I would start him. If not I would take my chances with Sproles. Pead won't get many touches unless Jackson is hurt, and the Lions' defense is pretty salty.

Tannehill is a good quarterback. Have to remember he was a QB in high school when A&M signed him. They made him a wide out and he actually did pretty good.
Then Jarod Johnson sucked ass and was replaced with Tannehill who actually was damn good. Tannehill lived across the street from me when I lived in College Station and we'd play football in the streets. Dude has a cannon and usually has damn good accuracy.
I just think he needs to get into the groove of things in Miami. Also on a plus side, Tannehill has the same coach (Sherman).

If I'm looking for a QB, I'm going with Foles still. Got the arm, and with a bit of coaching I firmly believe Foles will be a massive steal. I remember watching him when he was first starting for Zona and seeing him manage to get balls through some incredibly tight windows. Accuracy last year was suspect at times, along with his decision making, but again I think a bit of coaching can get him to be great.
Loved Lindley as well during preseason, not at all a fantasy play and jury is still well out, but has potential down the road (then again so did Skelator, and he seems to have barely improved).
Oh and last one, if your defense is shit, I suggest the "who's playing Arizona" method =p, the O-line is god awful, so have to figure there will be plenty of sack points available, and one of Skelator or Kolb should throw up some INTs as well.
