We went on a snowmobile tour in CO the last time we went skiing, and the guys who were giving the tour had a 800+cc racing motor on theirs...it would ride "wheelies"(trackies? since they dont have wheels?

) all day long in the powder. 8) Not near this fast tho...I bet that was a hell of a ride.

Those things are awesome.

The parents of a friend of mine used to own a snowmobile dealership. We used to drive the hottest sleds to the airport and then race the planes as they were landing. We would sit to the side of the runway and wait for a landing plane to come overhead. Then we would hit the throttle and race the plane to the other end.

Ahh, the stupid stuff that we did as kids. It's fascinating that any of us made it alive.

they're really light, so it doesn't take alot of braking to slow one down...

Holy crap that is sweet, I wish they would've had those when we took a snowmobile tour in January in CO. But then again they might not have gotten it back in one piece.
