Thread: It's 4 in the morning

..and you have to be up in two hours for work, but can't sleep because you feel like crap. My mom has strep, and I am starting to get it too. Can't even freaking swallow or talk.

Try this one on for size...You have all the symptoms of strep, but turns out its mono. Welcome to my life right now, Im in the same boat as you, Im supposed to sleep all the time, but i cant because i cant get comfortable because mono is like the most uncomfortable thing ive ever had to deal with.

Quit macking on so many jersey oompa loompas and you won't get mono.

In all seriousness though, once you start feeling better, keep rested. When I had it (relatively mildly compared to others I've seen) I started feeling better, and got back into the swing of things too quick. Spent another two weeks sick as a result. I was sick overall for like a month and a half.

The worst part is that I was able to sleep so much during the first few days of it, that I could no sleep anymore, but was still absolutely lethargic. I didn't even have the energy to sit around and play video games. I distinctly remember staring at a wall for about an hour because I didn't feel like doing anything, but couldn't sleep. I'd still take that again over being hospitalized because my throat has swollen shut.

Yea i have this same issue, So far ive been in bed a total of 4days. I get up, ill play video games for like 2hrs my head will start pounding ill pass back out, ill get up, watch tv (thankfully i can watch tv longer then play videogames) then pass out again. I am absolutely lethargic when it comes to anything, but yet slept so much i want to run a goddam marathon, as i said to my buddy, I feel like a level 1 Morrowind character...(nerds will understand that) as for kissing Jersey shore oompa loompas the last girl i hooked up with last week was a virgin (so she said) nd before her no one for the past 4months...

Just because she was a virgin doesn't mean her mouth isn't as nasty as every other oompa loompa I am the area. Mono isn't an std.
