...you have insomnia
I have always had issues sleeping, but never this bad for this long. Longest spell of insomnia I had before was around 2 months. This time around is going on about 6 months. I go to bed and just lay there- brain won't shut off. If I do fall asleep it is only for a couple of hrs, then I am up again. I am starting to feel like Edward Norton from the movie Fight Club. Insomnia SUX!
Did I say that or was I just thinking it?

Re: ...you have insomnia
Nyqil has the same effect with me. I also have issues sleeping but i have been able to train myself to a point. What i did was choose a program i like to fall asleep to. In my case it was married with children. What i did is every time i lay down i turn the show on. After a while my body took that as it was time to shut down. It doesn't work every time but it has been effective. I went from days of 2 hours or no sleep every week to 4 to 6 hours a night and the occasional no sleep. Mind you it took about a year for the process to take hold but it did work.
