Disney isnt stupid and they do know how to make movies. Purchasing a franchise that has made over 4 billion dollars with the idea to add to the series and most likely rerelease the series and merchandise stands to make them a fortune. Im not willing to call it a loss until i at least see some trailers.

i wish lucas sold out before he made the last 3 movies.

and i'll wager i'll eventually wish it wasn't sold to disney... disney movies have a certain 'g' ratedness to them that doesn't fill well with star wars. tron had it. avatar had it.

it's that inability to get dark and make it feel real, that is why i think star wars isn't for disney.

look what they did with tron 2. that was just like watching the trainwreck stars wars had become. not very encouraging.
