I like this match up. Probably one of the better bowls out there.

Should be a great game to bad the tickets are so expensive. Yeah this is better then most of the BCS match ups. I mean fiesta bowl will be good but the rest? Not so sure.

Florida Northern Illinois lol. I'm actually really happy now Oregon isn't in the Rose Bowl. Would've been a shell of the game they played against Wisconsin last year.

The fact the AP, coaches, and Harris polls put Northern Ill. 16th only helps the argument that saying "x and such is ranked so high, theyz the bester teamz!" is stupid. Maybe they'll prove me wrong, but I don't see NIU being near the level of Boise or Utah in their heydays, and no-one should of allowed them to end up in position to get a BCS bid over well, a ton of teams.

The fact that the top 10 teams don't go to BCS games makes me very happy that NIU is in one. I think it just shows more how screwed up the system is. (Top 10 teams should go to best 5 bowls, automatic qualifiers is stupid, and conference limits is dumb, but I do understand why they are in place...)

I just think Wisconsin getting in the rose bowl un ranked is ridiculous.

The Rose Bowl would be a joke either way OSU should be there, not Nebraska or Wisconsin. I love that NIU got in. I love that Wisonsin got in. The more screwed up the system is the better the chance for change.

With Wisconsin, they didn't have a choice (granted it could be solved if you made it an automatic birth required being in the top 25, or top 16 like for the non-automatics).

Really, when I looked at the entire bowl schedule, there was very few standout games, a lot seem pretty bleh or eh. Some obviously don't have a choice (the toilet bowls basically), and some I don't know why they took those match-ups.

Of course, just remembered it is about how many people come, they don't give two shits how good the game is.
