I've been a huge fan of the NHL my entire life and I really couldn't care any less at this point. So tired of the spoiled babies on both sides pissing and moaning about money when they're slicing up a 2+ billion dollar pie. The owners crying poor when they themselves are the ones guilty of handing out the contracts they are trying to prevent by the CBA. The players crying poor when the average salary is more than the average American makes in their LIFETIME for playing a fucking game. I'm done with the NHL.

Re: NHL Lockout Over!
After this and the last lockout I'm done with Hockey, I'm the casual fan, I pay attention when my team makes the playoffs and when I'm somewhere and there's a game one, I don't follow the placement or the players. I think I'll just keep it as I was but no chance of me caring about it more than that ever now.

Re: NHL Lockout Over!
Nba had a lock out and the nfl almost had a lock out, really its billionaires arguing with millionaires over money. My neighbor retired from the NFL last year , played for the giants when they won the super bowl 4 years ago. He really gave me a good insight as to how hard he had to work to compete in that league. The amount of dedication, work and sacrifices you have to make to be a professional athlete is something I never really thought about before I met him. It is just a game, but it's also a multi billion dollar industry and if you're one of the best in the world at playing that game you expect to be paid accordingly.
Still neither the players or the owners get any sympathy from me. At the end of the day the fans give them both their pay checks, yet they don't give them the slightest amount of consideration when they decide not to have a season because they can't agree on how much money they're going to make.

If this wasn't the third lock out in recent memory, I might be more forgiving. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times... FUCK YOU. Never again.

Re: NHL Lockout Over!
I watch a lot of sport news and I can't tell how they're only talking about hockey right now, but it's all good. Go HABS GO!!!
oh btw, if i'm not mistaking since Bettman is the commissioner there has been like 3 or 4 work stoppages. He's a real goon.
