I'd recommend practicing on the wife or girlfriends legs.

I've had beard and moustache for years now, but I still shave neck and cheek.
I've found just washing my face before shaving helps as much as using a brush brush does. Washing your face gets rid of all the oil/dirt, and if you use hot water, it opens your pores and causes the hairs to stand up so you get a closer shave.

Then I'd hop on my pennyfarthing and do a lap around the park while the ladies peeked from beneath their parasols and admired my prowess.

I looked at this a while back, I ended up figuring out its cheaper to buy a medium high quality electric razor. I still use my mach 3s because the blade is what I'm used to.

After well over a month of use, I can't say that I see any difference from the brand name razors. It's the same shave and they last you just as long. I don't see any reason to buy brand name razors anymore. I will most likely cancel my membership to dollar shave club and just buy the them directly from Dorco.

Also, I bought a safety razor, should be here in a couple days. I'll post back here with my feedback, that is if I don't bleed out trying to use it.
