When Nick didn't get Drew Brezz in Miami he pretty much said fuck the NFL. Drew wanted to be there and the coach wanted him, but the Doc wouldn't clear him. BIG MISTAKE for Miami and why they continue to be shit.

Easy to make that the justification, but it doesn't change the fact that he, and countless other coaches, talk into cameras/microphones and say they are not leaving only to in fact leave. Once you have done it once or twice it makes it more difficult to believe you the next time around.

And for the record I don't hate Nick, and I don't really even blame him for leaving LSU or Miami, just stating that he shouldn't get pissed about being asked more than once, like he did with Mike and Mike, when he has proven that he does reserve the right to change his mind on a whim.

I can agree he should be asked a million times. But like when at Miami he was being asked during the season and the answer with any coach during the season will be NO

I did however enjoy telling my friends that are Tide fans that I kept hearing rumors that he planned to talk to the owner of the Browns after the NC game. I also informed them that Mack Brown would likely retire, or be forced into retirement, in the 1-2 years that Nick spent in Cleveland opening up the Texas time just as he got tired of the NFL again. they didn't find it amusing.

I really doubt that will happen. He is due a roster bonus of 3M in Feb and his salary is like $11mil for 2013. Doubt after the last several seasons of him not being able to stay on the field will make him attractive to keep at that price.

if Chip shows up with the no Hurry O, then he won't have time to be hit and less likely to be out...However what is intresting is Chips QB's do run a bit and wouldn't a Tebow be a good fit for that? Chip likes to spread the field and run. When you bing the extra man up that's when he burns you with a quick pass. I think Tebow should be a tightend or HB, see if he can catch the ball.

You also have to be able to 'think on your feet' in Chip's system. Vick's football IQ is infamously low. I'd rather take a 'retread' like Alex Smith than either Vick or Tebow.

I would have to agree with you
