I really think it is just a guy who got in too deep, and thought the lies would be easier than the truth. I would love for him to be gay, and an openly gay player came out in the NFL, but I doubt that will ever happen with him, as he is supposedly a devout Mormon (if I remember correctly).

According to Teo, he said he met her so people wouldn't think he was weird, or something like that. Also, supposedly, up to a couple weeks ago he still thought she might be real. If the last part is the case, how can anyone want to draft him high?

Hell, he'd probably be adamant that he was sure every play-action pass was really a run.

So apparently, Te'o isn't the only dumbass out there... 4 Washington Redskins players were conned by a 'female' on Twitter as well.

Very big difference though. Te'o's shit went on for what, well over a year? Those Redskins never formed any sort of emotional attachment....they wanted to bang the girl because she looked hot lol. They never claimed they met Ackerman, or professed love for her, or any of the other stupid shit Te'o did.

In my opinion, Te'o is either one of the dumbest prospects to enter the draft in years, or he was somehow involved in the hoax and is thus a shitty person.

Lol, I don't care how sheltered he'd been previously, Te'o was a star football player so if he was actually desperate he had his pick of pussy from just about any college campus in America.
