    mp3 Volume Normalization Software

Does anyone have experience with this kind of software? I´m trying to get all my mp3´s to play at same or similar volumes; it is very annoying to have to keep regulating the volume on my console when the volume level changes with a new song.

I´ve googled and found a few programs, I´d just like to know which one is best if anyone has experience with this. I need it for my little gastropub I´m opening.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I thought iTunes does that if you have the settings set a certain way? Lemme DL and check.

Really? I didn´t know that...I´m using virtual DJ to play my mp3´s though.

Anyway, so I don´t complicate myself I think I´ll use iTunes for now. Thanks MR White. Still, if anyone uses Virtual DJ and if you have used mp3 normalization software I´d like to know which ones are of your preference.

    Thanks

This might help: How Do I Normalize the Audio in My Music and Video Collection?
I can't really offer more advice. The audio normalization we do at the station is taken care of by our main software (Nexgen), which is much more complex than what you're looking for most likely.

Definitely. Yea, I´m not looking for really complicated stuff, it´s just playback...nothing more...just looking to normalize volume level for the songs in the playlist. Thanks for the info. Mr. White!

    Re: mp3 Volume Normalization Software

You might actually, instead of post processing it, want to run it through encoding software and basically recreate the mp3. Most software that does that will normalize the volume as well while it's doing it.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.
