You won't make a lot of money. I just do it on the side for fun because I get to revive instruments that have been neglected and left to collect dust and corrode and I clean them set them up and sell to someone that will want to play them. If we can make a few bucks to cover all of our expenses and time, then it is worth it.

Ya, in work like that I wouldn't be too crazy about making money I just like being around guitars and the history and junk. I also like learning what makes them tick, what people do to guitars that they shouldn't. I read a story not to long ago on another forum about a guy who thought his action was to high so he decide to loosen the truss rod to help with his high action (face palm.)

Never mind HeavyG. I tracked down the guy I sold it to, who lost it in a divorce and I contacted his ex and we are in negotiations. Getting the actual one back would be amazing. Fingers crossed

Got myself a 2008 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass yesterday. This one is for my bass rig in the jam room, so I won't be selling. I will post some pics later today.

Sweet. I think I have decided to update the neck on my b bender. Turns out those american nashvilles are going up in value, as there were only a few made w b bender. I bought it for 700 and the current price on them is 1699.99. So I'm going to hold on to it. Ill keep the original neck if I decide to sell it, as well as updating the pickups. But I'm torn between Adder, Lollars, of Frailins....

Just shined, polished, adjusted, re-strung the Nashville, check her out! So happy to find out I have doubled my investment in this thing. She keeps going up in value.
BTW, if you have not tried Ernie Ball Cobalt stings, I highly suggest you do...

Sweet bass, Cam. That B Bender also looks sweet, Kracker. I was thinkin about getting one eventually. Here are some more of my personal axes:
2007 Fender Telecaster American Deluxe - My main axe, upgraded with Lindy Fralin Hybrid Alnico 3-5 pickups
2011 Les Paul Traditional Gold Top - Heavy, gold, loaded with 57 classic pickups, and does good at what a Les Paul should
1987 Fender American Standard Stratocaster - E4 Serial number - First year American Standard guitar and best playing Strat I have ever held
2008 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass - Just bought because I needed a Bass. So why not?

Nice jazz bass, I am starting to grow a fondness for the sunburst paint job.
