Thread: You crack a cymbal

First time in 8years of drumming ive ever broke anything other then sticks, and the one time i tripped over my double bass pedal and bent the rod that connects the two ends....Im a little disappointed being as its one of the newer cymbals i bought like 2years ago and im pretty positive i didnt get the Procoverage which means no replacement =( On the bright side ill have a couple videos to post assuming the audio is decent.

Like breaking a bass string. I've still yet to do so but I imagine it will happen one day.

I have completely broke off the headstock my my 1960 vintage original les paul......twice

You broke them off in the hooches of those Chinese hookers while you were touring over there, didn't you?

duct tape fixes all

Drill hole at the end of the crack. Will prevent it from spreading.

I've never either. Only guy I know who has done it more than a couple times is John Entwhistle. Didn't call him the Ox for nothing.

Actually, only once. After the first repair it was no longer "original". Just sayin'.
