Except the money gesture is something he's always done and I saw plenty of other football players doing the same gesture in games this past week. Was he a bit over the top with the signing gesture? Yes. The fact that the refs let this crap carry on is beyond ridiculous, but they are going to look the other way because of his reputation. I can only imagine what he was saying when he pointed at the scoreboard, but what first popped to mind was "Scoreboard bitches!"
All that matters to me is the end results. To all the naysayers out there, I point to the scoreboard...
Scoreboard, bitches.

In the end the scoreboard IS all that matters. The problem I have, as already stated, is when all of the JFF defenders say the media is unfairly picking on him, and he just wants to be some normal college kid like everybody else. Bullcrap. He wants the attention, or at least doesn't dislike it enough to sit down, shut the hell up, and let the scoreboard speak for him. So, once again, my only point is if you want to draw attention to yourself by talking all kinds of shit then don't get mad when you get the attention.

Re: Johnny Football Rumors
Hey, it all comes with the role of being a billy badass.
I have a feeling that Sumlin had a pretty good talk with him after the Rice game, and the fact that he sat his ass out after that unsportsman-like penalty against him. I'm sure he will settle down, play his ass off, and let the scoreboard do the talking.
Then again, that's what I hope. We shall see.

I hope Sumlin can calm him down. He acted ridiculous in his return. He will be baited every game and I'm sure Alabama will bring plenty of bait so to speak.
There was a great reaction from Barry Switzer about how he would handle him. Coaching sure has changed.

Re: Johnny Football Rumors
I like the end of that article bad. The lack of class by the commentators trying to hold a 20 year old kid to higher standards than they seem to hold...

Since I have been so critical of JFF I will give him some credit where it is due, and I feel it is. He chose not to speak to the media, and in typical media fashion they get pissed about that too. As we all know they will screw you when you speak, and screw you when you don't, and that is why I have said from the beginning he might as well just shut up and let his play talk for him, which he did. Kudos.
