One of my German neighbors has an older Skyline like that one. I like those a lot. It's much better looking in real life than in the photos and it looks great in the photos.

Loan isn't approved yet, but bank is working it up. They said everything looks fine. Debt ratio. Credit score. Etc. More than enough collateral with the camaro SS and hayabusa put up for extra, so I won't have to come up with anything down.

Placed a counter offer on the vette so we'll see what they come back with tomorrow and hope the bank finishes the loan as well.

I found another even better vette up north a bit. 2008 with 24000 miles. But it's an automatic. And it don't even have the paddle shifters. WTF. WHO ORDERS AN AUTOMATIC VETTE!?!?! And if you DO... at LEAST get the damn paddle shifters. Sheesh.

People who cant drive stick shift or people like myself that pushing a clutch pedal has become to big of an issue. Then there's always an auto can shift faster the you can shift a stick.

I don't disagree. An auto will always be more consistent. And I've been to a place many times where I've decided to never have a clutch again... But for a vette... you gotta have a stick.

Cars with sticks are always more fun to drive (as long as you are not in stop n go traffic) but automatics have gotten much slicker of late.

Sorry Kanati, Ive driven several vette's (but not the latest generation) and the manual feels awkward. At least to me. I can see why people might pick the auto even if they were interested in a stick.

I will say that I was surprised at the stiffness of the shifts in the vette. But there's just done cars I would want a stick. Porsche... Anything Italian... And a vette. I wouldn't kick out out of bed I'd it was an auto and I got an insane deal but given a choice, gotta go stick.
