Re: Car's and shit...
You guys seem to prefer American but I thought I'd post these anyway. This was my jam for the last several years.
Totally rebuilt engine, forged pistons, big ass Greddy turbo (not pictured), etc, etc.
I can't bring myself to post the last and most recent picture which shows the front drivers side totally smashed in. I had an appointment for new tires for the next morning and on a drive home it started raining like crazy, I hydroplaned and nailed a tree. For a twenty year old car, it was in pretty damn good condition. There aren't too many MKII MR2's rolling around anymore and mine was pretty much the nicest in my area. Kanati I feel you on wanting a bit of exclusivity with the car you want to drive although to be honest 350's are all over the damn place in So Cal and that particular car was actually the example I would use to point out how I wanted something no one had. It was fun as shit, looked great and nearly killed me several times but God do I miss it.dex71 liked this post

I feel your pain on the MR2. I have had 3 fieros and LOVE that small, mid-engine car. The MR2 was on my list of cars I wanted for a looong time.
In fact, I was at the dealership negotiating for an MR2 spyder... and when I left, the cylinder in my WS6 let go... that's when I got the Grand Am. I would have got the MR2 but the dealer just didn't want to sell it.

It needs more power and better tyres. It doesn't take much aftermarket work to get there but the 86 twins should have had that from the start. Also a Subaru without AWD is just weird. For about the same money, the WRX is faster and much more practical. The 86's are built to just be able to oversteer any time you want. If that's your thing, they are great. I do like the styling.
