Well today i decided to see why the camaro wont crank over. I turn the key and everything lights up but nothing. I check the starter first and its good. then i check the clutch safety switch and it all goes down hill from there. If i push the switch in she starts up. The only problem with that is the clutch pedal is sitting on the floor and still not touching the switch. After 30 minutes of trying to wrap my head around how is the pedal down and it not touching the switch i finally decide to pull the pedals out. Of which is such a pleasant thing to do.

I always thought it never seemed like there was much pedal to this set up but i brushed it off because pedals dont go bad. I would simply love an explanation for what the fuck happened here. No obvious bends, everything is welded in place, yet here is a switch that is no longer able to reach the pedal, and a pedal that doesn't have the movement is suppose to have.

from that prospective its kinds hard to tell which switch we are talking about but if the white one I'd say it needs adjustment, if the black and if that is a switch I haven't a clue.

Given the different color of the steel... I'm going to put money on there having been a boot/shoe over the end of it like I outline (or something similar).

That crossed my mind but no pieces of anything were found in the vehicle. The new set i ordered also do not have anything like that and make contact. The difference in color is paint i guess they wanted the part that may be visible to be pretty.

also on the subject of cars n shit my damn heater wont stop working even if its off temp is turned to cold vents switched to dashboard truck still heats like an oven especially when im driving 80mph home i know im missing the serpentine belt that runs the A/C (cause the guys at jiffy lube told me) but are the 2 tied together some how ?
