    Speaking of noisy stinking diesels do they all have shitty starters on them cause everywhere I go some asshole has to leave one running right next to me.

    No, it's just typically a lot less wear on the starter to let it idle and a lot easier than trying to start em back up sometimes. Starters are beat up pretty easy on a diesel because of the high starting compression.

    Its not that high. Most are around 17-1. Those starters are designed for it.
