I beg to differ having extensively had Scotches plain, splashed with water, and with an ice cube to melt. Different experiences that are each worthwhile.
And, lol at pussing out and going with a mixed Scotch. Mixing Scotch torpedoes the complexity and uniqueness that makes drinking Scotch such an experience. They aren't bad, but they aren't great. They're just a cheap way to try lots of Scotches at once without buying lots of individual bottles. If you really must have smooth, then go for the older Glennfiddiches starting with the 21 yr old.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

I am all over the fence according to that post.
My typical order with dinner is a glass of white zin or two.
My typical order when out for just drinks is a double shot of Buffalo Trace Bourbon. If not that I have two backups (Bulleit 95 Rye or Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey)

Jack and coke all day everyday, Classy, sophisticated, and no one Ever judges Most are impressed. Or whiskey on the rocks. Thats all you need to know about ordering when out on a date with friends, coworkers, Clients, Martini is too much IMO. If you are at a place like the Copacabana Daiquiris and sangria nd anything else fruity and gay are just fine. Thats it in a nut shell instead of a 5 paragraph essay =P

I like to keep it simple, so I usually just go with, "I'll have what she's having."
I like Crown and Coke, but BD turned me on to these at QC, and they are so much better than a margarita. Caipirinha - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
