Re: ... I have a stomach virus.
I had a stomach virus last Christmas that ended up putting me in the ER after 3 days. If you cannot keep fluids down after a day or so, go see a Dr. and get a prescription for Zofran. It stops the puking and allows you to re-hydrate. Dehydration is real and dangerous, the ER Dr warned me that I was playing with my organs by allowing 3 days of nothing going in.
I hope you get better soon, do not let this get out of control.Everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon

Re: ... I have a stomach virus.
I could not keep anything in my system. I effectively could not sustain anything (some water stayed in for a while here and there but then came out later). I fell ill on Christmas night, 2012 which was a Tuesday. By Friday, I was beginning to see geometric patterns, and tried to take the dogs for a walk to re-spark my life force. About 1 minute into the walk, I sat down and couldn't remember what I was doing.
I went to the ER and they finally got an IV in me. They gave me a liter of fluid and my brain began to boot up. Dr Mahdi (still remember his name and face) told me that I was irresponsible for waiting over 72 hours and that I was so dehydrated that I was flirting with my organs beginning to shut down. I quote "You are playing with your life when you decide to stick it out".
The Dr advised me to consider 8-10 hours of evacuation (north and south) the timeline for heading to get medical assistance.
I am not a medical professional, but these are the details of my experience. I would recommend you seek medical assistance if this is going on this morning.
Edit: as I said, they gave me zofran and it stopped the puking almost immediately. That allowed me to keep water and graham crackers down which began to reintroduce energy. A liter to the arm is an incredible thing. You can feel the water hit your brain within seconds.Last edited by Muqtar; 01-11-14 at 07:57 AM.

Re: ... I have a stomach virus.
Lol I am totally not even close to that messed up. I feel way better this morning. The soup I ate stayed down and since I have vomited only once yesterday I have stayed hydrated for the most part. I still feel like crap but I think I am doing ok. So no worries guys.
