So I moved into a new place recently and placed one of my stands too close to one of the heating vents which, in conjunction with AZ's dry weather, split the face of one of my Martins right up the center. I have a humidifier I put in it almost always but I guess 2 nights by the vent was enough to crack it.
Can't tell from the pic but it's split below the bridge and above it, most of the way to the sound-hole but not all the way.
Any of you guys who do guitar repair have any advice? Kraker? Heavy? Is this something I could fix myself with some special wood glue or should I leave it to a professional? How much do you think a repair of this nature should cost?
