If I was an 80 year old billionaire who bought a franchise for 13 million, currently worth 500-800 million, and I was fined 2.5 million dollars and banned from said franchise....I would not take the marlboro out of my mouth telling them to kiss my ass while flipping them off as me, and the company I own, walk out the door.


Just sayin....

He's not going to own the company much longer. The other owners only need a 3/4 vote, and he will be done. He'll still walk away with mountains of cash.

Who gives a shit if he loses the franchise, he's worth 2 billion....I think he'll be ok.

While I don't agree with or condone his comments I find it a worrisome precedent when one can be persecuted for a personal opinion or statement made in private. How long before it evolves from persecution to prosecution.

He signed on to it when he bought the team. Just as players are expected to not embarass the league (or team) with their comments and behavior, the owners have recourse when dealing with one of their own. He bought a business that is absolutely worthless without the league it belongs to. The other owners in the league will be voting him out in the best interest of the league they all have an interest in.

As for the private recorded phone calls......about as shitty as one can get. The baiting shows exactly what kind of person his gf is. Total cunt.

I also wonder if Magic has been doing some tuna splitting of his own. Pretty convienient that he has an interest in buying the Clippers, and their owner is getting ousted. Let the conspiricy theories fly.

Yeah, the league needs to protect its image or next thing you know players may bring guns into the locker room and threaten to shoot each other. Oh wait, that already happened, and those guys didn't get banned. Just seems like a stupid thing to get so much attention.

I think the whole thing is bullshit. It's not like he said those things on public television. Those were private conversations recorded by a whore girlfriend who was in it for something. Meanwhile we have millionaire athletes who abused animals and raped women. These same athletes are contracted by FatHead and idolized by our youth via huge wall posters. I doubt any of our children have a poster of the Clippers owner ( or any of their team ) on their wall. Click Here and you can have your very own dog killer to idolize on your wall.


Makes you wonder where the priorities lie. If Mr. Clipper owner was playing the sport at the pace of Kobe, it would be a different story.
