Re: Clippers ruling
Sterling is an asshole; however, I am troubled that people believe that he should be deprived of his business because he is an asshole. As far as I can tell, Sterling has not broken any laws.

Allegedly the NBA has rules that cover "conduct detrimental to the team or league". Their plan, from what I read, is to use that to say that his actions cost the team, and thus the league, sponsors and money, and the only way to recover those sponsors is to remove him. Not saying I agree, or that it will work, but that is the plan I keep hearing.

I too take 20 years to find the "right time" to get a divorce. What an idiot his wife is too. Well, maybe she is pretty smart. Instead of only getting half she can probably now get it all.
"For the last 20 years, I've been seeing attorneys for a divorce," she said. "In fact, I have here -- I just filed -- I was going to file the petition. I signed the petition for a divorce. And it came to almost being filed. And then, my financial adviser and my attorney said to me, 'Not now.'"

Has anyone seen the clips of the Sterling interview airing tonight with Anderson Cooper? Saw some clips on ESPN this morning and like everyone else is saying, Sterling sounds like a mumbling idiot. He apologizes and asks for forgiveness but at the same time sounds as if he thinks what he said wasn't that bad. He's just digging a deeper hole.
