bill marr can go fuck himself, are some of the displays stupid yes but I'll bet an armed robber would think twice about making one of those places his or her next hit.

He does have a point. There's NO reason to haul an AR into a starbucks. I mean seriously. That's just LITERALLY asking for trouble. And if those places are now gun free zones because of their shenanigans then they are adding to the problem, not helping it. If your state is open carry and you walk in with a glock on your hip in plain sight that's one thing. If you live in a concealed carry state and walk in with a concealed firearm... that also is fine. But nobody with half a brain just walks around shopping with an AK74 on their back.

I agree. Carry all you want but carry something that's right for the job. A high powered weapon has no place in a public area for one simple reason, they're too damn powerful. Sure you'll drop the douche causing a scene but you'll also drop three other people because your rounds went through four stores and a car wash behind the guy before they lose enough momentum to be stopped. Modern day buildings are paper compared to high powered fire arms. It's simple physics.

I completely agree with you and it's stupid but on the other hand it's also their right to do so if they wish just as it's the stores right to prohibit that action on their premises.
