05-02-15, 03:16 PM #1Mayweather vs Pacquiao
Been waiting for ages for this fight. Me and my roomies are having a viewing party tonight for the fight. Mayweather is the real deal, no doubt he is favored to win - but I can't wait to see pac-man put that douche on his back.
I have a cousin-in-law (if that's a thing) from the Philippines and he said his whole country goes nuts when Pacquiao has a fight.
Anyone else stoked/going to watch it? I'm not really into MMA but I always love watching real boxing

Overall, a pretty disappointing fight. Mayweather dodged the whole fight, got the hits in, and won on a decision by points.
Manny went for it a handful of times but ultimately just didn't have the energy we were all hoping for. It's hard to think that he lost on punches cause it seemed like he was lighting mayweather up but the numbers don't lie

And this is why boxing is lame. If there ever was an argument to be made about the legitimacy of a sport and those who play it, boxing would be at the top of the discussion. When you lose a fight and still take home $120 million, you know its a bunch of bullshit. Where does this kind of $ even come from? $300 million for 1 fight... GTFO.

Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao
I'm sorry I paid for this.
When Mayweather wasn't running away Paq was backing off. There were a few moments of real fighting and then Mayweather running away.
It looked like they decided to mail it in. I do not consider Mayweather to be a great fighter ... at least if he was he didn't show it this weekend. What a crappy way to keep your title, run like a chicken. Paq didn't win the bout, but there is no way in hell that Mayweather won it either. Loser? Everyone hoping to see a great fight.
I'm not dropping another dime for a boxing match. My goal is to succeed in any mission - and live to succeed again.
God grant that I may not be found wanting, that I will not fail this sacred trust.
