Just remember that not every job will be for you. And let them decide if you meet the qualifications (unless you really don't think you do), just say what you did and that you're eager to learn anything.

got a phone interview with a security guard company tomorrow


and a email back about glass working dunno if im cut out for that one says they will train though

The job is in a small studio working on figurative glass sculpture. The cold worker does grinding and polishing primarily with hand tools. If you are interested please contact me.

Kick. Ass. Getting yourself out there is the important part.

And don't sweat the interviews too much, or at least don't think of them as auditions. Remember that they are also your opportunity to see if the job they are filling is right for you. Ask questions, and see what your normal day will entail. The more interested you are in the position, the more interested they will be in you.

Best of luck - I have a friend that does security at a local business campus. He escorts people into/out of the premises, patrols the buildings after-hours, ensures doors are locked, and is a trained EMT. He didn't have any training prior, he learned everything he needed after he was hired.

the physical interview is where i'll sweat it i mean i seen some outa shape security guards and i seen some 80 year old lookin security guards but i dont think they would have a uniform in my size

i may have got the offer for the job just need to come up for 100$ for finger printing and a guard card
