I think it was 200 people, not 2000. I think 2000 employees would be like 30-35% of their workforce. The thing is that Harley Davidson (HOG) is publicly traded, so they have to do these things in order to keep their EPS in line. From an investor standpoint, they don't really care if sales revenue is going down 10% if operating costs are going down 15%. It is more complicated than this, sure, but all of these publicly traded companies.

Indian is owned by Polaris, I think, so they may face similar issues in the future if Polaris is not doing well. They will have to seriously up production if they ever want to keep up with Harley, who is making something like 50k bikes/year, last I read. This may be different now, but for a while, I recall seeing that Harley was ranked #2 in overall sales in the U.S. behind Honda, but those numbers were unclear because of the wide variety of product Honda sells.

Either way, I think Indian makes a great bike, but I still love the Road King. Classic HD bike. I am also starting to really like the Steet Glide as well.

I like the large laundry room and being tied to master closet, and I really dig the walk in shower and garden tub combo.

We added that door between the closet and the laundry room. The builder was giving us a hard time about it as they wanted a bunch of money to have it professionally drafted and would have to get approved, but I forced it in as part of my offer.

I have cameras on my current house, so I am just getting the pre-wire done so I can install my existing setup in the new house. Gives me some additional peace of mind. Crooks are also less likely to rob a place if they see cameras.
