Thread: Coming Home

Anyone ever that get that feeling of regret when you hit up a vacation or trip and then think "Damn I can't wait to get back to my computer" then you get home and all you can think about is "Damn I wish I was back where I was 2 days ago". The past 3 days all I've been thinking about is what fun I had and all the memories. I suppose it's like that camp feeling huh. You goto camp and for 2 weeks make great brotherly bonds then and in the mean time your telling yourself "Damn I miss my computer", feeling home sick. Then you get home and can't get the thoughts out of your head of why you can't stay there or go back that instant.

Man......

heh. Man, we got back from camping over the weekend and have had non-stop shit to do all week. Aimee and I both have been saying, "man, we haven't had any time to rest and recover from our vacation!"

... how the hell does that work?

That's why I always take one extra day off from work at the end of a trip/ vacation, lets you settle back into the groove if you will.

The rumor is one of Kojima's new titles is a survival horror.

Lies, we want hard facts here. Dont be coming here to spread rumors.

Metal Gear Solid house Kojima Productions is undergoing a thorough "structure, tools and staff" revamp so that it can further penetrate the Western market, Hideo Kojima himself has revealed.

Speaking in the latest Famitsu (via Develop) the MGS creator said that because of the restructuring at the developer, 2009 "is going to be a very important year" for Kojima Productions.

"We're currently reviewing everything in order to make Kojima Productions a team that can challenge foreign creators and software houses," he said.

"I've thought a lot about how Western games have been winning, looking it from a global perspective, and there are things that I've noticed.

"I've come to understand that the way we've made games up until now won't translate globally, and I've come to think that I need to make Kojima Productions a team that can compete alongside the rest of the world," he added.

It's anyone's guess what sort of changes Kojima will be making internally (perhaps they're moving to Bromley?) but Hideo has been rumoured to be eyeing up the FPS genre as his next target. Stranger things have happened.

"Nooooooooo", as Darth Vader yells in RotS. Hideo, please, we have more than enough western developers and we have more than enough FPS!

That'd be really odd considering that time and time again he has admitted to get motion sickness from actually playing FPS's.

But yeah the rumor is shooter and survival horror.
