    Ahh ok my bad.

I still think people should keep looking though. I dont know all the spots.

If its comfirmed that it isnt exploitive and just simply gives smoker cover we should try get valve to implement it into a patch.

Anyone have any objections with the idea if it was balanced and only provided cover? I think its a much needed smoker buff

Grabbing them with tongue and then side stepping back around the corner esssentialy dragging the survivor round the corner with him. Or on roof tops he can take a few steps back so that survivors cannot shoot his face off.

Why the smoker is unable to do this i do not know.
Because the guys at valve have tested this concept for 4 years before coming to the conclusion that the way the smoker is now is fair to the survivors.

Yet in the same 4 years they were testing them they didnt figure out smokers could instakill how do you explain that if they were tested so well for such a long time? That clearly wasnt the case.

I mean it would be pretty standard for a tester to see what would happen if a smoker was too pull a survivor from a high ledge no?

um, im sure that point of no return on NM5 was cleverly thought out... and instances where the smoker can pull someone off lets say...the roof of a barN? I mean if a smoker can get an instan kill from that its realistic AND its the survivors fault for going up there you know what i mean?

I understand it being realistic but you said they would have tested my idea and found that it wasnt fair etc etc.

But you have no evidence of that and they couldnt have tested smokers much atall to not find out they can instant kill. After they did find out (thanks to public players , Not testing) They fixed it straight away.

So clearly they have only tested the basics of smoker stuff which leads me to beleive they didnt test smokers that could move after pulling survivors. I bet the origininal design was stationary and thats what they made.

We however need a smoker than can move

how about in BH1 in the very beginning as the survivors are running up the path and to the right is a big drop off? a smoker could stand on the edge and snag a survivor in clear sight, then take a step back, fall down and, boom, instakill.

How about falling down doesn't make your player fall off, it makes them hang onto the ledge.

Not always - that's what's supposed to happen, but often it doesn't for some reason, and the player falls to their death.
