Beer Advice Please
I've recently been in a new beer mode (happens about twice a year), where I have to find something new and tasty. I'm a big fan of German beers or dark beers in general. I love Hefeweizen, especially Franziskaner:
But, the local AJ's Fine Foods stop carrying it and I heard Trader Joes over here on the west side carries it, but havent confirmed that yet.
Also another great one I recently discovered is Hefeweizen's parent company, Spaten, that makes Optimator.
^^ That shit is just straight up smooth and tasty. It's also like over 7% alcohol which helps too.
Recommend some beers for me people!

Uhmmm..... we are in Texas, that means Shiner. I'm pretty much all over the map myself. You've probably had all the standards
- Smithwick's
- Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale
- Young's Oatmeal Stout
- Newcastle Brown Ale
- Chimay - multiple types
But another one I like, just because its VERY different, try this

Also, I live in Minnesota/North Dakota so there are excellent microbrews up here. I dont know if they distribute that far but heres a list of brewers to try:
Schell - Carmel Bock and their seasonal winter Snowstorm is amazing
Summit - Good IPA and EPA, also make an excellent porter as well
Leinenkugels - Honeyweis, Original, Berryweis and Creamy Dark

SHINER BOCK!!!!!
