What the hell are you guys complaining about? VALVe didn't NERF the infected they buffed them. Tanks can now get under staircases and in vents much more quickly than previously. People that hide in closest, corners, etc. with auto shotguns when the tank approaches will be leveled immediately because the tank's punch now hits multiple targets. Smokers were buffed too, they can finally hit a survivor with their tongue without a common infected breaking it. If you honestly think that this patch was a NERF to the infected you're wrong.

As long as it does bonus damage, I really don't mind. Flaming hunters were overpowered as it was. The only thing is that the swing should come back to 7-8 damage per swing to compensate.
I do agree with this, 6 claw damage is pretty weak and is not usually worth it. 10 was a bit OP, 7-8 sounds about right.

    Nice one.
I really enjoy playing as the smoker and it was such a chore trying to snag a survivor if there were NI around.

Tanks still have the same hp and how many situations have u honestly seen where the tank needed to crouch? Ive only encountered a tank that needed to crouch about 10 times out of a total 400+ tanks ive encountered.

And how often do you see survivors next to each other when theres a tank running about? again its about 10 times per 400 tanks.

The tank changes realistic only effect about 5-10% of the gameplay and in most situations u wont even notice the changes if survivors are out in the open.

Hunters however effect 100% of gameplay

so it is quite a big nerf to infected

I take if you've never seen the survivors fight the tank in a vent? 10 times out of 400 my ass.

I guess you've never seen survivors huddle in a corner and let the tank smack one of them around while the rest just unload on him either? The two cheesiest ways to kill tanks have just been removed.

but in that case you ever tried to take down 6000 hp with reg weapons. They buffed up the tank but they didnt really need to do that, the extra hp fair enough, but all the other infected are, pardon my french, useless wankstains

When exactly was this tank buff put in place? I played last night and there was no aoe whatsoever. I mean... I incapped them all, but I couldn't just aoe them, I still had to use my ninja tank tactics.

The tank now has 6000hp, signifacantly more than it use to, however now fire hurts you when it didnt use to it just killed you in 40 seconds regardless of how much hp you had.

Yeah i have but its about 10 out of every 400 scenarios.

Some chapters dont even have a vent, Blood harvest has like 1? and its not even effective to use on top of that ive never even seen a tank spawn anywhere near it.

The only vent ive seen used is No mercy 2. And tanks dont ussualy spawn at the start. 90% of the time they spawn just before the cresendo while traveling through the train carrages.

I guess you've never seen survivors huddle in a corner and let the tank smack one of them around while the rest just unload on him either? The two cheesiest ways to kill tanks have just been removed.
Again it dosent happen often enough. Almost every single time ive encountered the tank it will chase 1 player while the other 3 shoot, Tank will change target rinse and repeat.

I hardly ever see 4 survivors bunched up together when theres a tank present. And generally when they are the second the tank gets anywhere near them they split up.

The tanks buffs just wont come into effect often enough to make up for the hunters nerf.

Overall infected have been nerfed instead of buffed.
