Exactly. Survival horrors are suppose to be a great challenge for the survivors. Although they do have a challenge most of the challenge is on infected.

I dont think they should not survive though just die alot more often than they do. 70% of the time survivors seem to reach safe room. it should be 50/50 or even 60/40 in favour of infected.

This is why I wish L4D operated a ranking system in its matchmaking. That way, you'll only end up with people with similar skills to yours when you join. This would lead to a lot less bitchin' from the noobs that can't play the game, as they would have much lower ranks than the more experienced and skillful players. Although a ranking system doesn't fit into the L4D game itself, multi player wise it would get rid of all the whiny little bitches that want the game to be catered to their every whim. The number of times I've received a message from someone complaining that "Ur a n00b" or "U hax" is phenomenal...

Play against my team and the team that we play, the survivors make it to the safe room about 30% of the time. All it takes is good teamwork which is what the game is based on remember.

However we're mediocre on survivors lol

I heard while playing that Funters don't do fire damage unless they caught fire from a molotov or a gas can. I had a Funter on me that had lit itself from environmental fire on NM2 and it did no extra damage. Can anyone confirm this? If not I'll get some buds and confirm it later.

Although I don't know what a funter is ... I will confirm it for you. Yes, gas can and molly only. No environmental fire. There is a thread on the steam forums somewhere.

It adds 5 DPS.
