Washer/Dryer
www.woot.com has a deal going with a Samsung washer/dryer set.
condition: New
product(s): 1 Samsung 3.79 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front Load Washer WF316LAS
1 Samsung 7.3 cu. ft. Super Capacity Electric Dryer DV316LES
I dont know much about major appliance costing, but woot usually has some pretty good deals. So if you're newly weds, moving, or just need a new one, get the hook up.

Re: Washer/Dryer
Maybe for the price but I just dont know about Samsung products out side of their televisions and even they are not top of the line. If I were looking to buy a washer and dryer and I was trying to save money then I would srop the stainless and get something of higher quailty. Kenmore, Whirlpool or Maytag would be my first choices.

Re: Washer/Dryer
I have a Samsung microwave and dishwasher. Both are solid units for the price.
The microwave is a real mo-fo, I have never seen another one that puts out as much power. The difference is plainly noticeable - no testing required.
The dishwasher does a heck of a job, but it is not as quiet as I would like. When we remodel I will put more money into that appliance and probably get a different brand.

Re: Washer/Dryer
Check out the GE Profile dishwasher Bacon. That is what we have and you cant tell when / if it is running. Only issues with that is that I have many times opened the door only to get a little wet with spray because I did not know it was running.

As for the everyone else. I trust Bacons opinion on the Samsung appliances so shop away.

Re: Washer/Dryer
good one ebacon.....this is interesting, guys chatting about household appliances...I'll be sure and inform the women about this lapse in masculinity
. If I had the money to buy a new washer and dryer, I'd go with a Whirlpool Cabrio or Canyon washer and dryer, the washer can hold 3 baskets of laundry in one load, and uses 50% less energy and 44% less water (not so sure if that's a good thing or not with the water).
